I did not install any of these. There’s several more pages like this. How do I figure out how, why and when they got installed?
They haven’t been installed - HACS just thinks you might like them. There should be a button to remove them top right.
Very annoying, I agree.
Ah, good. I was beginning to wonder if the machine had somehow been exposed, and if somebody from a foreign country had gained access, that there’s a chance they might have used it to store illegal files, and that maybe I should prepare some tea in case federal agents come knocking lol. Glad I don’t have to worry about that.
What a bizarre design decision. Any ideas how to get rid of this feature?
Enable experimental features for HACS to get the new UI.
With that you do not see newly added repositories unless you look for it.
Excellent! Thank you!
I have actually got a few great Integrations/Cards , do to this “Option” , Very nice to receive these " NEW Repository ", infos !!!, So one can follow up on what’s New/available in the community-store.
If one finds them irrelevant, just click “Dismiss” if one finds them interesting “Click on It” and read, when you click back ( And not click “Install” ) then they are gone ( but available in the HACS-community-store. )
( It’s not Stranger that that ! ), but as you got the idea that someone might have Hacked You, i guess your thoughts about what is " bizarre " is well grounded in “misunderstandings”
Yeah, I like looking through the newly added repositories, even if I dismiss 99% of them, that 1% is gold.
Ditto. I like it. Please don’t change the behaviour. Just make it a setting.
