Hello
I am trying to understand how the Somfy wt motors operate.
Below is the wiring diagram for the somfy altas wt with an inis uno wall switch.
Obviously it’s applying power to each input of the motor causing it to go up or down. The middle button apparently makes it stop by cutting power to the motor.
The switch is a dumb switch in that limit switch on the blind is mechanical and in the blind itself.
Does the switch latch power within itself and then provides power to the motor up or down terminal? Or is it a pulse signal to the motor which makes it go up / down ? If it’s a pulse signal then I don’t understand the stop button as this would do nothing. If you have to hold the button to make it go up or down then the stop button is pointless. If it’s latched some how this means power remains on the motor when the blind goes all the way up or down? I’m trying to mimic the same behaviour using a zigbee switch I have.
