Still very new to the Home Assistant game.
I just bought a Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus.
I also bought a Aqara motion sensor.
I have connected the motion sensor to Home Assistant.
But it does not look like it detects motion.
When creating an automation, i can’t find the option “when motion is detected”.
How do i fix this?

The proper trigger would be “iaszone started detecting motion.”
But…
Do yourself a favor and use state triggers. Not really a big deal, functionally the same, but if/when you start editing yaml, the “device_id” in a device trigger is an unecessary headache.

Did you manage to figure this one out?
I also purchased an Aqara motion sensor in the hope it would work with my SONOFF ZigBee 3.0 Dongle E, but it turns out it’s not really.
I can pair them, and it seems as if the motion sensor would communicate with HA, but eventually, no new motion events are registered. Leaving them paired for like a day resulted in finding the Aqara sensor to be reported by HA in an unknown state.
Any suggestion is appreciated!
