Hello,
I am trying to install the custom component for sonoff : GitHub - AlexxIT/SonoffLAN: Control Sonoff Devices with eWeLink (original) firmware over LAN and/or Cloud from Home Assistant
but I have always the same error when restarting home assistant:
Component error: sonoff - Integration 'sonoff' not found.
I install it by the custom component folder in my configuration folder.
Is someone have an idea to solve this?
I can’t tell you, why it’s not working for you based on the info, you give.
But i can assure you, that the component is working flawlessly here, so there is nothing wrong with the GitHub component.
It’s working fine for me too.
If you have not already done so I would strongly recomend installing HACS first as this will then make installing the Sonoff LAN (and many other custom components) very easy:
I have now successfully install the integration, it was the custom component name : custom_component rather than custom_components. Now I have a problem with my sonoff dw2 but I see my problem in “to do” on github so I think it would be solved in few Time.
