Are there any hardware options that will let one control an AC outlet as a dimmer? Yes, I’m fully aware that you can damage things like televisions and appliances that are meant to be powered at “fully on”.
While I want to be able to plug in things like a stand lamp, I’m also interested in being able to plug into a gang box a Leviton type paddle switch to control a dimmable load (such as overhead spotlights). Is there anything like that on the market?
