Hi guys. I connected the Sonoff dongle-e to Home Assistant and I can correctly synchronize all my home automation devices, most of which are used for the home alarm. some devices go offline because they are very far away like in the garage. I wanted to know if there is a way to repeat the signal with another Sonoff stick by connecting it to a power bank so that if the power goes out, everything works. Thank you
There’s router firmware for the CC2652 based sticks, not sure if one exists for the E though.
Hi, I installed a second Dongle-E midway from the garage to extend the coverage.
I just flashed the Dongle-E with the “router” firmware.
I connected to Silabs Firmware Flasher | Web based flasher for ZB-GW04 and ZBDongle-E. MultiPAN RCP firmware enables these devices to be used with Silabs Multiprotocol Addon in Home Assistant. Allow Zigbee and Thread to co-exist on the same dongle. Get ahead of the tech an experiment with Matter! , connected the Dongle-E to PC USB and followed the web GUI.
After that, just paired with Coordinator Dongle-E.
