SONOFF Orb-ZBDIM Zigbee Dimmer Wall Switch with Z2M

Hi Guys

Just wondering if anyone has used the SONOFF Orb-ZBDIM Zigbee Dimmer Wall Switch | MINI-ZBDIM-E with Z2M in HA?

I bought one for a play and find the dimming is lousy, the physical device takes seconds to respond and the middle button does not switch it on and off directly.

Controlling the on and off from HA works quickly enough, but again the dimming is not useable…

Any thoughts?

What globe device are you dimming?

Hi… I have tried both a dimmable led (14w) and a 100W tungsten bulb…

Hi. I have a MINI-ZBDIM that I have been experimenting with. Seems to work ok, but I can’t get any info about using it in three-button configuration. The ORB-ZBDIM has three buttons, and is clearly using the MINI-ZBDIM as the controlling element. And there’s even a new EDIM enclosure to accept the MINI-ZBDIM.

Any chance you’ve been able to take a look at the internal wiring of the ORB enclosure to see how three buttons are implemented with two switch inputs?

I suspect that the middle button either connects S1 to S2, or connects both S1 and S2 to line at the same time.

Can you shed any light?

For anyone who’s watching, I received this from Sonoff tech support: In Triple Pulse mode, simultaneously activating S1 and S2 will be considered as pressing the third button. Please note that this mode is designed for the Fusion enclosure kit; successful recognition is not guaranteed when simulating with a third-party switch.

I’ll try to find a double-pole puch button to test with…
