Sonoff RF Bridge, Noob Q & A

I have been using HA for about a year now and have several wifi devices that I have been building my system with. I am interested in adding some sensing devices like Door / Window sensors, Motion Sensors, current sensors, etc. At this point I have investigated my options for these items and I like the idea of the Sonoff RF Bridge. So I am creating this thread as a starting point for those who may be where I am at and interested in the pros / cons, and pitfalls of the Sonoff RF Bridge.
To kick the Thread off, My first questions are …

  1. Is the Sonoff RF Bridge a recommended option for low power / cost devices like door / window sensors and motion sensors?
  2. Is there a device limit for how many connections can be made to the Sonoff RF Bridge (assuming Tasmota firmware)?

1/ It works. I have some door/window and motions sensors connected to my rf bridges
2/ No. If flashed with tasmota or other alternative firmware, there is no device limit.
