Hi guys,
I want to make my garage door opener smarter and thinking of one of the ways to do that.
Looking into 2 different devices from Sonoff.
- Sonoff RF Bridge - if I understand it right it can not only receive but also send RF signal to my garage door. Basically mimic my RF keychain. But it can also control some other RF devices in my house (thinking of using it for my gas fireplace).
- Sonoff SV - will work nicely as a garage opener. One device - one task. Cheaper than Sonoff RF.
Are there any advantages or reasons why using Sonoff SV rather than RF Bridge?
They can be both integrated into Home Assistant and do the same job. One is more expensive, but may control more than one device.
Thanks.
