I upgraded my valve from 5120 to 5121 and all the config in Z2M (external temp sensor, histeresis etc…) has been overwritten with the default values.
It is my first version upgrade, so i dont know if every time i upgrade the firmware it will happen, or if there is a bug during the upgrade process
Can anybody advise?

It happened to me once in 3 or 4 upgrades i made so far, yes.
It might be a glitch, or planned action, i guess. In any case now i check my settings after an upgrade.
Did you find a changelog yet?
I upgraded one device and it appears its settings didn’t change.
Looks like it was happening only with the previous z2m version. A fix was released yesterday and it is working fine now
