Sonoff with MQTT out of the box?

I was just browsing itead.cc thinking of ordering a few sonoff basics to play around with and noticed there seem to be two different items available. This one specifically has me curious ; https://www.itead.cc/sonoff-wifi-wireless-switch-1.html
The title implies it works with MQTT out of the box, does this run a different firmware than the original? Can it be connected up to HA without having to flash it?

Since it fails to mention MQTT anywhere but in the title I would guess not atm, and certainly all the ones I’ve bought don’t without flashing custom firmware.

I would agree, not likely. But, just maybe since the SKU is created something is on the way?

I’ve just started using sonoff devices and I’ve managed to flash them all. I have no experience of using jumpers or flashing via USB, but the guides are quite good and it all went perfectly. Even the light switch, which seems to be a very awkward one, was manageable.

Maybe in future they’ll support mqtt out of the box, but it doesn’t seem it yet.

They have two different Sonoff Basic. One has wifi + 433MHz and the other just wifi.
