Sonoff ZBmini or BASICZBR3 as routers?

Hey everyone, quick question:

I need to reinforce my network with some routers as i have some end devices with very low lqi that tend to disconnect.
I found references that the BASICZBR3 do not work as routers on a z2m network, and i can actually see this in practice.
Is this the case with the ZBminis? or are they able to act as routers and communicate with end devices?

Just asking before i buy a bunch of them.
Just fyi, my network consists of a sonoff ZB dongle 3.0 as coordinator, a couple of BASICZBR3s and a bunch of aqara smart plugs, many sensors and one no-neutral wall switch.

I have 3 ZBminis (not the one’s with no neutral, the regular one’s). They work fine as routers in my zigbee2mqtt network.
