Sonoff ZBMINIL2 with relay for light

Hi!

I’m not sure whether this is the correct place to post this question, if not please propose something more suitable. For me it’s a hardware/wiring/hardware configuration issue - I give my best to describe it :
I have a Sonoff ZBMINIL2 installed behind a light “momentary switch”. That momentary switch triggers a power transformer and turns a LED light on/off. In more detail, there are 4 switches in total connected to that transformer. Current setup is that pushing any of that momentary switches turns on the light, the switch moves back into its default position (as it’s a momentary switch).
Now I have installed a Sonoff ZBMINIL2 and it “somehow works”. Means: If I push it physically and hold it for approximately 2 seconds it turns the light on (or off), everything is fine. If I push it just briefly (as one does normally), light turns on/off, but the transformer makes a humming noise until I (briefly) push the switch again. This applies for turning the lamp on as well as for turning it off.

In Homeassistant integration it’s even more disturbing - I turn the switch on/off via a button and have to “redo” that operation (as after the first trigger of the lovelace button results in e.g. the light being turned on, transformer humming - so I have to trigger the lovelace button again, ending up in the light is turned on, humming stops - but the indicator switch in Homeassistant shows now “off” as it was (manually) triggered twice).

Has anybody an idea how to overcome that issue? Can the Sonoff switch be somehow configured to e.g. always simulate a 2 second button push, even when pressed briefly?

Thanks in advance for any ideas/solutions/proposals.
Have a nice day!
