Since the Sonoff Zigbee sensors are so inexpensive I am interested in how I could integrate them into my Home Assistant setup. Most of the threads, blogs, and Youtube videos that I have seen never mention the Sonoff bridge with tasmota or the Sonoff zigbee dongle. Since I already have ZHA through a Nortek GoControl HUSBZB-1 dongle and I can only use a single ZHA configuration I am not interested in trying to migrate to Sonoff bridge or USB dongle (although it might be better for me in the long run) I would like to know if it is possible to integrate the Sonoff zigbee sonoff through my existing setup. Is that something that I can do or is the bridge and Tasmota or the Sonoff dongle the only ways to integrate Sonoff zigbee sensors into ZHA in Home Assistant? If it is and do eventually want to go with the bridge how do I migrate?
I am currently using the Nortek HUSBZB-1 using ZHA and have a couple Sonoff zigbee devices connected. Not using any other hardware / software. Only a couple devices so far, but I haven’t encountered any problems.
