just wanted to say thank you for the announce feature. It’s awesome! I was annoyed at first that stuff stopped working. Now after starting to fix my node red flows I noticed how much work went into this whole Snapshot thing.
This is how my flow used to be to play a message:
and this is how it now looks after removing all the extra work for snapshot (getting current volume, snapshot, pausing (to prevent volume boost while stuff is playing), adjust volume, play message, restore volume, resotre snapshot … insane.
This also always caused issues if something was playing over apple TV + Airplay.
And now this is what is left of the flow (seems like I can’t post two images since I’m a new user)
Anyway, thank you HomeAssistant team for this great improvement.
