I‘ve been searching for hours and I just can’t get this to work… I want to make an automation that starts playing songs from a specific playlist (defined within the Sonos app) - ideally in a random order…
Can this be done using the visual editor?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, the following shows how I currently start a Sonos playlist in the visual editor:
“Party” is the name of the Sonos playlist.
I don’t know about playing these in a random order as this would require access to the “shuffle” option which I don’t think is supported.
There’s also a Play Media action, where you just have to specify the speaker and the media. If you put your playlist in My Sonos you should be able to select it. My experience is that if it has been set to shuffle in the Sonos app tracks will be played in random order by HA.
