Hi All,
So, I would like to automate a Volume Change on a Sonos speaker in my house.
Seems pretty simple… But!
The ONLY thing I can’t select, when I choose a Sonos speaker as the device to controll, is the bloody volume!
I can set surround levels, bass, trebble, Night sounds, alarms… but not the Volume (or Mute State) os the unit!
1: How do I do this?!?
2: Why is it not in the list of things I can set?!?
Yes, the Sonos is running SonosOS 2, HA have detected and seen them, the Media Player can control the volume of the unit… I. Just. CANT. select. Volume. when I try to automate it.
Am I the first one on the HA user-team, that would like to automate the volume?
Reason:
I live in an apartment, and the rules say to turn down the volume at 22:00, so I would like to Make Sure the bedroom is off, when the sound-sensitive people upstairs go to bed early…
