Sonos shuffle doesn't work well

I’m using the Sonos card on a dashboard with shuffle set to on. I have 6-8 sonos speakers or amps. But periodically it reverts back to the first song in the unshuffled play list. If I skip, its the 2nd second in that list. So, I turn shuffle off and back on via the card’s button and hit skip and then its shuffled but that’s a pain. I’ve worked with the AI and tried some automations but nothing seems to work well. Of all the cards I tried, I like the Sonos one best but if I had to switch to another card or music assistant perhaps I would if that truly fixed it.

The AI did suggest something about Sonos playlist snapshots but haven’t dug into whether it works as it didn’t seem confident.

Yes this is a bug, we should create an issue.

Did you create an issue for it somewhere or am I supposed to do that? Is there a work-around?

Also, it should shuffle one time by default and then just move the pointer down the list (and storing that value) and not shuffle again until it reaches the end (unless repeat is on). Otherwise, you can randomly hear the same song repeatedly and may not hear other songs for a long time, which also happens to me when I’m forcing it to reshuffle rather often.
