I have an automation that (re)sets the volume of a Sonos, but when it does for some bizarre reason, it also unpauses the music! Does anyone have any idea why this might be? Is it by design?
* The middle log entry is me pausing the music manually
if you just do the volume_set in dev-tools->services does that still cause it to play?
i’ve got several sonos devices and i’m not seeing your behavior… however i have only olders (s1) devices and the move device, so maybe it varies? tho i’d be surprised.
also you’re sure you don’t have any other competing automations that trigger it to play right?
Just tried this now, and no it doesn’t play - and interestingly the automation is not doing it today either! Bizarre!
