Sony Bravia found on discover but wont pair on Homekit

Hi

I have a Sony Bravia 4K Android TV that has been discovered by HA.

This only got offered to me when the TV upgraded to Android 9 in January.

When I click on it to finish off the config. The TV goes black and pops up a HomeKit PIN number but when I enter that number its not accepted.

I have tried entering as it says XXX-XX-XXX but also XXXXXXXX and XXX XX XXX but to no avail.

I dont have HACS installed and am trying to stay away from this.

Should I be doing something else or is this a known issue ?

I am experiencing the exact same issue, so it is probably not your specific setup.

I upgraded to 107 the other day and today upgraded to 107.4 and just thought I would try again and it worked.

All working.

Only 1 issue is that TV option in the source option does not work but HDMI 1, 2, 3, 4, etc does.

A bit of advice. Enter as Home Assistant wants ie XXX-XX-XXX and not what is presented on the TV screen.

Hopefully yours does too
