Sound notifications seem to work well with an iphone. But with an ipad, the message arrives but no sound. Same yaml with just the device name changed so nothing too complicated. Seems to be something ipad specific.

Check the App Settings of HA in your iPad-
Notifications, try to Allow everything and toggle on the Sounds
