I’ve well setuped speech recognition via web browser (Chrome).
Now I will wondering to know if it’s possible to setup speech recognition on local microphone (attached direclty to my hassbian machine).
Would you consider switching to HASS.IO ?
It has a plugin that I believe turns your rpi into a Google Home

I’m coming from HASS.io … too slow automation and webserver on Raspberry Pi3.
Strange, I’ve just moved from HA on a HP Microserver to HASSIO on rpi3 and not noticed a difference.
Have you checked your log for errors ?
