Speed of Automation execution

On the weekend I separated out all my automation and placed them in separate folders. I have noticed in the last 2 days that some of the automation that used to execute very quickly take an extra second or two to perform.

Is this a normal drawback to splitting the files like this?

No. Not unless you are running Home Assistant on exceptionally slow hardware. Like a pi zero. Even then I doubt you’d notice much difference.

Something else is amiss. What is your CPU load like?

Im using a Pi 4.

Core CPU 25.5%
Core Ram 19.7%

Supervisor 0.9 & 1.9%

Host 66.6 Used HD space.

Sorry I am new to this.

Is that more than usual?
