Hey guys,
after installing and configuring the Spotify integration I found an unknown device in the source list available in the integration. It was a combination of letters and numbers, thus I thought that this may be the ID of one of my audio devices (Chromecast mostly), which I had previously setup. I selected it and tried outputting music to it, but nothing happened, while the other listed audio devices worked fine.
So I googled the alphanumeric name of the device and it turned out to be the Spotify Connect hifi audio player in the holiday home about 900 kilometers away, where I spent my vacation a few months ago! The device is of course not connected to my wifi, but it became the default player/source for my Spotify integration in HA. I tried to delete it from my Spotify account, but it doesn’t show up online, therefore I can’t. I found it in Spotify for Developers, though, among the available devices, but I have no clue if I can remove it at all and how.
Here’s my question: Is there a way to at least remove (or hide) this device from HA??? In the Spotify Lovelace Card I was able to hide it, but it remains available as the standard output device in the Spotify integration. Also, the hifi player is not listed among the entities or devices in my HA.
Thanks a lot!
