Is it feasible for HA to support the Spotify-connect feature to remotely control music?

It could work with this python api for the local webserver. But it hasn’t been updates since 2013 and it’s reverse engineered.
Yeah…seems a deadend considering its a Private API 
Would love to see this. Though understand its closed status would make it problematic if not impossible.
