Hello all, I have a sql sensor configured to measure my gas usage over the running last 365 days. For this the sql sensor selects my gasreading from 365 days back and subtracts it from the one of today. That worked untill last week. about the same time as I upgraded to 2025.2.0.
I’m not sure what happened. But now apparently I had to install the SQL integration, even though the SQL sensor worked for a year already.
Moreover, I thought I had it working again, I had configured a new sensor, this time from the gui. It had collected a couple of datapoints. But today I came back to and noticed that the sensor threw an error again:
In the log I see an error about KeyError: ‘recorder_instance’.
I have not explicitely installed a recorder integration. But I read the recorder is already there, because the history is depending on it.
So my question is twofold. What change in 2025.2 can have triggered the demise of my gas usage counter. And what is causing the error in the screenshot?
