I am currently looking to migrate my HA instance to HassIO KVM image and I would like to simplify my configuration at the same time.
One thing that I cannot figure out for sure is the SSL portion. Currently, I have an auto generated SSL certificate and my local HA instance is configured to use it. However, I never use this local instance and I always use the Nabu Casa cloud connection.
My question is if it is worth it to secure my local instance with a manually generated SSL certificate if I always use the cloud connection? And if I don’t use the local SSL, will I still get a secured connection with Nabu Casa?
