YOU ARE THE MAN!!! Yes for the Mumble server that was the case. Wow I went crazy for 3 days.
Later tonight will check also the Jitsi server
try the link I gave you, is super super easy, like Nginx PM but in addition allows a lot of more modifications if needed.
BTW they are working also on UDP/TCP, but I guess you still need Cloudflare to not proxy, correct?
Yes, correct.
You will need to bypass Cloudflare proxy for Jitsi, this will render useless certain features (like the security features) and it will only act as a standard DNS entry like from any competitor. It will point just point to your public IP.
For example, maybe Citrix is not too far in the way it works like Jitsi. So I have a Citrix Desktops and Apps setup, for the Citrix Storefront (web portal to access resources) it just works flawlessly with Cloudflare Proxy and NGINX, but the actual remote connections wouldn’t work since they can’t be proxied.
So the web portal to access and download the ICA files I left it intact, for the resources to do the streaming (UDP connections) I had to bypass Cloudflare Proxy and NGINX, on the router I forward all these UDP connections ports to the server hosting those resources.
For other stuff like a Guacamole server (HTML5 clientless remote desktop gateway, basically you can remote to any server/PC within your LAN on any web browser) it works out of the box even with Cloudflare Proxy and NGINX. Obviously it is streaming your desktop to the web browser but is just works. I wouldn’t have thought it would work but it does, I am guessing it uses websockets or some sort of witchcraft that is supported.
So again, check documentation or time to bring a white board and revising your setup and checking the ports, requirements, limitations, etc. But all in all, you’re having the same issues I had with Citrix, so look into that suggestion.
OK I bypass cloudflare proxy now, but how to bypass nginx (Caddy in my case) since port 443 is forwarded to the VM were Caddy is, and not were Jitsi is
Hi, would you be interested in helping me out, also for a fee, I do need to fix this
