I have a TV on my outdoor patio. It has an optical audio out sent via Cat6 to a 5.1ch receiver in my mechanical room. That receiver is hooked to speakers on my patio. So, I have 5.1 surrounds on my patio. My problem is that as I change the audio on my receiver (via an IR extender) I can hear the audio adjust but there is no numeric audio number shown on my TV screen. HA knows my receiver’s audio level as a numeric value. Is there a screen or display I could mount under my TV that would receive and display that numeric state?
I know I could use a phone/tablet to adjust the volume via HA or the receiver app, but I prefer to use a regular remote, if it’s an option. It just fits my hand better and is easier to use. Or, maybe there is a universal remote that could do this??
