Hi Guys,
I am in the UK and I am new to HA, just got a raspberry pi 4, and started with the basics (lights, plugs, locks)
I am looking to see if I can integrate my home alarm in to HA,
I have a Honeywell CP038 keypad, it was connected to the phone line but I have since removed the phone line as we all have mobiles and never used the home phone,
It was only after I got it disconnected I realised the alarm used it,
But he - ho what’s done is done,

So I want to see if I can integrate the old system into HA or is best to start afresh?

I know that it is an old thread but I am just working on a similar project.

However, I have an existing and working Galaxy alarm system with three CP038 keypads.

I have dry contact relays fitted in the main panel that are connected to an ESP8266 and this lets me know if the alarm is set or triggered.

I’m using an ESP32 connected to a fourth CP038 keypad so that Home Assistant can deliver the button presses for me for set, unset, part set etc.

If there are any alarm engineers reading this who know how to add this additional keypad to my Galaxy system, I could do with some help.
