I tried HA many months ago and nearly lost my mind and gave up. I got up to adding some integrations but couldn’t get one to work which was a deal breaker. Anyway fast forward to now, I forgot my username and password, read as many similar posts as possible and get stumped right away on all suggestions.
In the ‘I’m locked out’ post, the only scenario that seems to apply is to start a new onboarding process. You do this by shutting down Home Assistant and deleting the following files from the .storage/ folder in your [configuration folder] - but where is that??
I have HASS running on virtual box on windows. I can read and learn my way through my other issues but I am totally stuck. I just want to start completely over from the beginning.
