Starting out with Shelly - confusion with Shelly for HASS?

I’ve bought a couple of Shelly devices to experiment with and add to my HA system.
Somewhere along the line I appear to have messed things up and appear to have a problem with the fact that my HA has Shelly for HASS information (which I understand is/was a 3rd party add-on) and I can’t get the built-in Shelly support working.

As it stands now I have

  1. Shelly item under my list of Dashboards and when I click on that I get Shelly for HASS config screens.
  2. In HACS I have no entry for Shelly
  3. In my Settings/Devices and Services I have a Shelly integration called “Shelly Smart Home” and when I click on Documentation it goes to Shelly for HASS on GitHub. I can chose to delete that integration but I can’t then find the built-in Shelly integration.

Apologies if I’m not explaining this well - I have made good progress with HA with several other HACS and built-in integrations but this one has me completely stumped!

I should add that I have setup the Shelly devices in the Shelly App with no issues (H&T G3 and Plus 1 PM)

I use this integration

When I install that I get Shelly for HASS - or is that the correct one? The Documentation link once installed talks about having been discontinued but I don’t seem to be able to get rid of it.
Do you have a Shelly “folder” in your Home Assistant left hand list of dashboards etc - not sure if that means I have correct or discontinued integration.

I restored an HA full backup from before I even thought of using Shelly, Now the proper integration was included and works fine. So solved!
