State of the art circadian lighting

Similar to others threads here, I also am I am relatively new to home assistant

My goal is to have a state of the art circadian automatic lighting around the house via sensors (probably the everything pro)

In order to have this, I need smart bulbs to change color during the day

I’d love to go with z-wave since it’s sub-Ghz to have longer range and avoid cluttering the 2.4 Ghz bandwitdh.
I’m based in Europe, where Fibaro is quite good on the zwave switch side (it also support zwave direct association), but unfortunately I found only one zwave smart bulb, from AEOTEC, which has not so great feedbacks and its hard to find in stocks. This is a risk, because I can’t rely on a single product.

So I guess Zigbee will do it since Matter, unfortunately, is often crippled compared to the Zigbee counterpart

Inovelli is designing an european Zigbee (Matter) smart switch with direct binding, but it will take some time before it’s finished and available

State of the art means that the lighting shall be working also in case HA (or the ZBT2 or other) goes down, without color or dimming, but it shall still be operable from the switch, that’s why I’m interested in direct binding

I read around and watched many videos, as far as I got it, the only hw that support Zigbee direct binding is:

Using a wireless button instead of the dummy switch in emergency time is an acceptable solution for me

Otherwise, my next best option is to have the Shelly gen4 in detach mode with a custom script that detects when the bulb doesn’t respond to the wireless command and cuts the power (or viceversa) similar to what is shown in this video

Regarding the smart bulb, I started playing with the Aqara T2, but I’ve also looking at the new HUE and Ikea series, still undecided though where to go all in

We got a 1970 house with dummy switches, but I’m available to replace them if necessary

What are your thoughts? What hw would you suggest to go with?

I have Ikea bulbs on zigbee and the Adaptive lighting integration. Lights turn on and off with automations, so no need for buttons for most of them.

In the cases I need buttons or other controlling units, I use whatever connected to home assistant: a vibration sensor, a wifi button, a button on an awtrix display I already had, etc.
