State updates when changing brightness via GUI

I’ve still been toying around with HASSIO and learning how the code works etc before I go all in.

Something I noticed with the light card and any advice if I can tweak anything would be great.

I created a very basic light card that contains a zwave entity. Say the light is off and I change the brightness, the light will turn on but sometimes the color of the icon will not change to the “on” state color. Or the light is on and I click to turn off the light the light turns off but sometimes the brightness slider does not go all the way to zero and sometimes it does. Bug? Tweaks?
