Morning - I can get steps from my iPhone but tbh i dont carry it about much so i was hoping to get the steps from my watch - i cant see the integration though? Even though the apple health app merges the watch and the phone steps, HA seems to only use steps counted on the phone.
So, in short - is there a way to get the steps counted from the watch, or the total steps as per the IOS Health App?

nice idea and would be nice to have the steps from the watch as well!
I wondered about this too and realized that the Withings app pulls combined steps from HealthKit; there is a Withings integration, but it doesn’t look like everything is pulled over to HA and steps don’t seem to be available yet. I submitted a feature request here.
FYI you don’t need an actual Withings product to use the app (called HealthMate). So… a little hacky but it would work. There are probably other probably other integrations with access to that data as well.
