Still can't use the android app :-(

when i set up my home assistant for remote access using duckdns and lets encrypt, my android app lost its ability to connect to home assistant. when i try to connect using the app, i get an error:

unable to connect to home assistant.
failed to perform SSL handshake. please ensure your certificate is valid

has anyone found a solution for this problem?

The problem is likely because you’re trying to connect using the LAN IP or homeassistant.local - and the SSL certificate is for your DuckDNS hostname.

If you want to connect that way then you need to move SSL to a reverse proxy server (like NGINX).
