I have some Velux roller shutters which I added to a Velux gateway (KIG 300) to control them with the Velux app “VELUX ACTIVE”. HomeAssistant suggested to integrate this gateway via HomeKit Controller Integration, which I did. Now I can control my shutters (up, down, position slider) with the exception, that there is no “stop”-button.
Unfortunately the service cover.stop_cover doesn’t work either (e.g. in a script) so there is no possibility to stop moving cover at desired position. Set position with percentage works (slider), but this is not intuitiv especially for my wife.
I have configured a KIG300 over HomeKit integration and it works like a charm exept for the ‘stop button’ feature.
Any workarround or planned feature realease for fixing this?
Chiming in and wondering if this is a feature that’s missing on the HomeKit side of things in general or just the HomeKit Device integration in HomeAssistant. Anyone knowledgeable on the matter? Support for stop would be great
