Stop exposing Chromecast to Google home

I swear I saw someone trying to do something similar not that long ago, but can’t seem to find it.

My problem is to set up Chromecast, you have to use Google home app. But, I also have the Google Assistant connected with HA, so in the Google Home app it shows 2 "family room TV"s. I heard you can like filter devices to not show in Google Home app.

I saw someone trying to filter their devices from showing in homekit so I don’t know if I can do the same with Google home.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

If using the HA cloud, below where U turn on the Google integration there should be a item called manage entities. Go in there and turn off ones you don’t wish to sync to google home. Go back out and then sync devices. If using manual setup of Google assistant the doco for that integration has information on how to exclude items
