Stop notification popup in Z2M

Hi,

In Zigbee2Mqtt, I have some devices that are sometimes switched off but wich I want to keep enable in Z2M (because I want to be able to use them when they are on).

My problem is that Z2M displays “failed ping device popup” every 5 seconds when I’m using Z2M console in HA. You know, that big red popup wich hide half of the console :confounded:

As we can see the availability of a device in the console, is there a way to stop these notifications popup without disabling the device (wich is the only solution I found at this moment → Reddit topic )

I’ve searched for a way to turn off these notifications with no luck.

Personally, I hate screen graffiti like this so would also like to know if this can be done.

Any particular reason you turn the power off to the devices? Zigbee devices should be powered all the time to have them part of the network, and turning off devices can cause problems. If you need physical switches there’s solutions for that.

At this moment, I have issues with my electrical system that prevent me to install physical zigbee switches.
Waiting for a solution about that, if there is an easy way to stop these notifications, that would be great

I have the same issue, as there is already a blinking “Offline” under availability, WHY does it have to inform me every few minutes that “I checked and it is still offline. Here, have some useless info…”
And as mentioned, it renders the screen useless on a mobile device.

Apparently, there is no way to stop these notifications unless disabling the device in Z2M :slightly_frowning_face:
