Hi, i get random reboots, or even worse home assistant stop working untill unplug the Raspberry, dont know whats the problem, what can i do?
On top of my head, you can check your power supply, maybe you need to up the power
also you may want to check your SD for corruption…
Check if power supply is enough for your pi and USB devices. 2.5 Ampere is recommended. If you got nothing on USB, then 1 Amp should work.
Sometimes a USB device tries to draw more than 0.5A , for instance a 4G network modem, in that case you need to supply power to that usb peripheral using a separate adapter. Connect the RED wire from adapter to usb device’s RED wire, keep GREEN and WHITE connected to rasppi. All BLACK wires should be combined. Keep RED wire coming out of rasppi usb cable, unconnected.
Thank You, it’s been working good since i got it, so i think the power supply Is not the problem, how can i test if the sd Is corrupted, I’m on hassio, should i clean install?got this problem for a quite now
If you got spare SD try that. The one you got, need to check for bad sectors , but once its gone its gone. You need to move on and save your time. I would suggest buy only 8 or 16 gb cards from brand showrooms or reputed online dealers. The bigger ones have a tendency to get cloned by Chinese.
