Stopping IKEA Styrbar remote automatically binding to Aqara H1 wall switches

I have an IKEA Styrbar (E2002) remote and several Aqara H1 (WS-EUK04) wall switches. Whenever I reset the Styrbar remote (by pressing the button on the back four times) it finds the nearest H1 wall switch and binds to it, such that pressing on/off on the remote operates the relay in the wall switch.

I would like to just pair the Styrbar to my (Sonoff ZBDongle-P) coordinator without it binding to any devices.

The Bind tab of the device page on the Zigbee2MQTT frontend doesn’t show any bindings. If I input a binding between the remote and switch then click ‘Unbind’, Zigbee2MQTT reports successful unbinding but the devices remain bound.

Does anyone know a way to prevent the Styrbar from doing this automatic binding?

I’ve managed to reset it and pair to the co-ordinator by moving it away from any switches that it might try to bind to, but still keeping it close to the co-ordinator by extending this on a long USB cable. (Otherwise it doesn’t complete the pairing interview.)

Ignore my last message… The Styrbar still managed to bind itself to one of the Aqara switches. If anyone has any advice about preventing the binding, it would be gratefully received!
