I have different hue scenes with 4 lights. The scenes are created in the hue app and visible in home assistant.
When I activate the scene with the hue app, with hue dimm switch, with home assistant app - no problem.
When I activate the scene with an ikea tradfri shortcut button (i tried different blueprints) one of the 4 lights is going on and immediately off. Everytime the same light.
I tried it with a group of 4 other hue spots it works.
What is the problem with this one hue spot light?
I would first try to disable the automation for the button, and check if the button does in any way control the light by mistake - e.g. sends a off signal to that light or group of lights. I suspect there is might be some touch link connection or somethink like that interfering.
Personally I really like that switches are able to control lights without intervention needed from the controller (as a backup if the system is down) but I do not like that this is so unclear for Zigbee if and how this is done. Personally I prefer Z-wave associations, which I can see and edit in the device configuration.
Another reason that light may go off again is if it is unable to communicate back to the controller that it actually did as asked. I’ve seen this behaviour on lights with bad connections. So I would also check the link for the errant light. Maybe its communication is somehow adversely affected by chatter from the Ikea button?
