internal URL is set under System-Network. By default the internal address is set automatically but you may want to use the DuckDNS address instead. However, the DuckDNS address will resolve to your internet IP so you’re actually routing this data over the internet. You could create a pointer in the dns configuration to resolve the duckdns address to your internal IP address. I haven’t tested all this but hoping it may help you.

Did you have any luck with this? I have been struggling a lot trying to make it work. I have a local address and a tunnelled address through cloudflare. I use the REST API and send stuff to home assistant to track sensors. I can click on a page in home assistant and “cast” the page, but there are no cast options on videos for HA at all. Not even in the media folder. But I can click anywhere on the page right click and cast the page. No attempt I have made has even changed the screen on the chromecast except right click cast the page.
I have my camera sending feed to my TV after seeing motion. I only want to view it for 10 seconds. How can I tell the automation to stop and let the TV continue what I was watching?
