I am struggling with getting my washer and dryer from SmartThings to work properly. Only some of the entities seem to work, others are unavailable. Anyone got any tips for me?
I am using this custom integration:
Both my washer and dryer are currently running, but this is what I see in HA:

It looks like the dryer works better than the washer, but neither seem to work 100%

Try to open the SmartThings app and the actual device there (to refresh states in SmartThings) and after then check the entities in HA.
I remember from years ago, that there was a shitshow with this. SmartThings’ or let’s say Samsung’s infrastructure is a hot mess. All the OCF devices are not using device handlers but some sort of smart apps built into the SmartThings app, and their states are behaving differently then any other.
(That’s the reason why that shitty app harvests all the space available on your phone… Back when Samsung announced that they would consolidated the number of apps they develop, and they will merge them into the SmartThings app, was actually a move and they merged it into a single app. That’s why it might consumes 1GB of space.)
Otherwise this kind of questions or rather issue better to post on Github, where you might get some answer from the developer.
But I don’t really get it why is it a custom component and why all those improvements hasn’t been merged into the official HA version…
