I have spent several hours trying to get HA to cast a dashboard to my Nest display. I can get annoyingly close, so it MUST be possible but I have run out of ideas as to what small change will get it working.
Here is the dashboard that I want to display via the "external" URL
So I first tried Dash Cast and configured it with that URL
When I run it what I see on my Nest is a login screen. Not only do I not want to login every time I use it, but the on screen keyboard doesn't work anyway!
Not to worry... so I switched to Google Cast:
It displays ANOTHER dashboard, the original default version of the built-in Overview which I do not want, and which I had customised anyway...
I have a fairly extensive "Smart" environment, and I only want to see the most relevant things on this display, but nothing I do will get it to display any other Dashboard! I even tried making the Google Nest dashboard the default. No difference.
I am sure that it is only a small thing I am doing wrong... please help!
