Suggestion - how to make my old soundbar into media player soundbar?

Hi guys,
I have one question for the community, and am open to suggestions.
I have an older soundbar, and with the recent release of Radio browser on HA, would like to possibly utilize it as a media player in the kitchen (hopefully wife will then spend more quality time there :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: )
Is this possible, or to rephrase it, what is the easiest and cheapest way of transforming my ordinary soundbar into wifi media player? If someone has already some device that they might suggest, and that it works with HA. There are many cast devices out there, mostly however with HDMI, and I need only 3.5mm or toslink. Oh btw location is Europe, so please something that can be bought here.
Thanks in advance!

P.S. Simplicity is important, as probability of wife using it is in direct correlation with it! Anything with more that 2 clicks and that probability drops exponentially.

If you are in the Google ecosystem, I guess any chromecast + andHDMI extractor would do.
If you are in the Alexa ecosystem, there is a specific device, the Echo Input.

That’s for the “out-of-the-box” solutions (I have no clue for Apple)

Besides that, hook it to an RPI and the sky is the limit

Thanks for suggestions!
I’m trying to keep my HA “offline contained” so I don’t use either google or alexa, simple RasPi with zigbee devices.
I was looking at Arylic Up2Stream or something similar in that direction…
