Suggestions for a HA Switchable DC Adapter for a low voltage light

I’m looking for suggestions on creating a more streamlined setup for a low voltage light. Ideally I would like it to be one small box that has an DC adapter (5V) from 120 AC and HA switchable.

This is the current setup using items I already had. The lights were originally powered by batteries and I soldered up an DC adapter to so I didn’t need to use the batteries. I then added Kasa plug to control it.

It works but it is bulky and is not very attractive. I’ve looked around but haven’t really hit on a good solution yet.

Any suggestions?

I’m doing something like this with a Tuya zigbee relay, similar to the ones tested here. https://smarthomescene.com/reviews/zigbee-dry-contact-relay-review/ . You can take the DC power and connect it to the relay as well as the input power of the board. If you replace the former battery box with the switch, you have a pretty neat solution.

Thanks for replying. That gets me part way to where I want to be. I’ve got a Shelly relay I can use for that.

What I’d really would like to have is one box where I have the relay and transformer together or at least adjacent.

Any random esphome compatible plug with USB?

To follow up, this is what I ended up with. I didn’t find an all in one solution but I was able to go the USB route and using a Sonoff Micro Smart Adaptor switch.

I was able to find everything in white so it looks pretty clean. I soldered the USB power lead after the switch to the fairy lights with a resistor that came with the lights and wrapped that in a white shrink tube.

Pretty happy with the results. Controlling it and another light together through HA of course. The picture is before I tucked the works behind the vase.

I use plenty of gosund SP112 that have two swichable USB outputs (beside the normal AC socket)
