I’ve been running HAOS directly on a Dell OptiPlex 3020 mini PC for the past year, but now need to replace it, mainly so I can use a M.2 Coral Accelerator card, which I recently bought and unable to use it due to compatible slots not being available.
I’d like to keep with the Mini PC form factor (due to its low power consumption and small size), but I’m looking for one which has a couple of PCIe slots (compatible with my Coral M.2 Accelerator B+M key card). My budget is around £350 and would settle for second hand if necessary.
My medium term plan is to run Home Assistant Container on this new platform, which will allow me to also run Frigate and Deepstack containers for face recognition. I also plan to keep my OptiPlex and use it as a HA development platform.
Any suggestions on a suitable platform would be greatly appreciated.
