Sun Component: translating error, how to correct directly in my Home Assistant?

Hello everybody,

I am happy to take part to the Home Assistant family :slight_smile:

I am learning in managing Home Assistant, and facing all little problems; but for this one, is a little too hard.

The sun component has some bad translations; in particular, in the attached picture, the lines with the bad translation are signed with a red arrow.

In particular, if I am not wrong, the lines are referred about:

  • next sunrise;
  • next sunset;
  • sun elevation.

If so, I want to try to change the translation directly in the Home Assistant “settings files” (maybe… code?) for a fast correction of the translation.

What can I do to do it?

@tom_l, I gave my contribution (I hope correctly) to the translation, but there are a few things about it that for me are not so clear:

  1. How dows it work about the translation? Is about a votation where the most choose option will be insert in the official translation?
  2. How much time does it take for a change in the translation project to be official?

Those two questions made me think about modify directly my Home Assistant translation file, to have a quick solution to my problem.
