Annual net metering is the current form of energy metering in the Netherlands and some other regions. This allows energy users to deduct produced energy from used energy on an annual bases as a means of calculating the energy bill. This form of metering can be implemented in the current energy dashboard but it will result in incorrect price calculations when the users annual production exceeds it’s energy usage.
